Motorcycles are a great way of getting around Europe but we didn't get to see "the sights". So we've gone back in a car several times ....  no tour group safety net .... are we crazy or
what!?!. And, no we do not speak any other languages (I have enough trouble with English) and you don't need to but knowing a few words can be a big help; the people are helpful and
friendly.

These trips were only possible because of the many personal travel web pages on the Internet. These sites are loaded with all of the things you never think about.

Also, tourism is huge in Europe. Most towns, even the little ones, have their own web pages as do a lot of "bed and breakfasts". By doing your homework and research you can plan a
custom and successful trip.
Start planning early!

Hint: Check several of the ticket brokers on the Internet; many times the ones with ads on TV are NOT the cheapest!

Also, checkout books by
Rick Steves, you see his books carried EVERYWHERE in Europe. I would also suggest getting Michelin maps (or GPS maps) for the area you are going to visit,
they are excellent.
